Robert passed away peacefully at home Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the age of 69 from cancer. His sisters, Penny Thomas, Patricia DeVeaux, Marsha Langford and Candy Illikman, as well as our dear friend, Dawn Hendrick, were at his side.

He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on September 7, 1953 to the late Peter and Elsie June (Egeler) Bartels, and remained a lifelong resident.

Surviving are his two daughters, Pamela Miller and Crystal Bartels; three grandsons, David Goodwin, Luke Miller, and Nick Miller; one granddaughter, Kaylee Bartels; and a special nephew, William Bartels. He was predeceased by his brother Peter Frances Bartels, and sister, Linda Irish.
