Martha Lear Sherrow Doolin

<p>Martha Lear Sherrow Doolin, 98, widow of James Luther Doolin, died Thursday, September 29th, 2022 at her residence. Born April 16, 1924 in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late John Wagner and Sara Dora Graham Sherrow. She was a retired Nursing Aide having worked at Central Baptist Hospital and Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was also a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Norwood, OH and enjoyed crafting and working on her family farm.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her son Jesse Ronald (Wilma Jean) Doolin of Harrodsburg; five grandchildren: James Ronald Doolin, Michelle Lynn Doolin, Sara Ashley Doolin, Heather Nicole Reed Neighbors, and Marlena Lynnette Reed Shafer; Eleven Great Grandchildren, Eight Great Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Ruth Mitchell and five brothers: Cecil, Carl, Melvin, J.B., and Bill Sherrow.</p><p><br></p><p>Graveside funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 3, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon Monday at Alexander &amp; Royalty Funeral Home.</p><p><br></p><p>To share your memories or to send a message to the family please visit www.alexanderandroyalty.com.</p><p><br></p>
