Agnes Graham Cofer

Agnes Graham Cofer, 91, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Mrs. Cofer was born on March 2, 1925, to the late Daniel Nicholas and Henry Alice Graham in New Berlin, Illinois. She was a member of Elizabethtown Baptist Church and past president of the local chapter of NARFE. She read her Bible daily and always helped those in need. She loved her family dearly. Mrs. Cofer was preceded in death by her two husbands, Russell Cofer and Haley Nall; brothers, Charles, Homer and Henry Graham; sisters, Thelma Miller and Lucille Douglas and a son-in-law, Corby Powers. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Bettye Yates (Gene), Barbara Powers, and Rusti Silverthorn (Robert); grandchildren, Gene Russell Yates (Barbara), Rob Powers (Pamela), Cheryl Stewart (Eric), Carrie Joy (Gary), Christy Briley (Kevin), Robert Silverthorn III, Chris Silverthorn, and 13 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank all of her caregivers and staff of Atria and HMH. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Dixon-Atwood & Trowbridge Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky with Dr. Glenn Chasteen officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the funeral home.
