Lockwood, Joan, 86, passed away Sunday, September 25th, 2022. She was born May 28th, 1936 to Carl O. & Cathren A. (Dillard) Crossfield in Piggott, Arkansas.

Joan was a retired Dolly Madison Store manager, member of Order of the Amaranth, enjoyed flower gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Howard Lockwood in 2010, sons: Paul A. "Tony" Lockwood, & Michael A. Lockwood; brother: Carlos Crossfield; Sister: Reba Hammontree.

Joan is survived by her sister: LaWanda Hearing of Colorado; daughters: Kathy (David) Byers , Deborah (Dana) Davis both of Wichita, and Karla (Ray) Werner of Fort Worth, TX; daughter-in-law: Joyce Lockwood of Wichita; Grandchildren: Bryan, Rowe, Allen, Angela, Anthony, Kyle, Daniel & Sarah; Great-Grandchildren: Adryanna, Hayden, Taten, Elizabeth, Braydon, Cooper & Kasen.

Visitation: Thursday, September 29th, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Smith Mortuary - Haysville 7031 S. Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060. Funeral Service: 10:30 am, Friday, September 30th, 2022 at Smith Mortuary - Haysville 7031 S. Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060. Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery.
