<p>Sharon Sue Olson was born on September 1, 1948 in Eldora, IA. She was the youngest of two children born to Floyd and Melva (Bolles) Olson.</p><p>Sharon grew up in Radcliffe, attending Radcliffe Public School where she graduated with the Class of 1966. She then attended Ellsworth Junior College for one year.</p><p>After college she got a job at ISU Library. From there she went to work at 3M in Ames, working hard there for 36 years.</p><p>Sharon enjoyed traveling with family and friends, shopping, craft shows, small town festivals and fairs, cats, movies, visiting Amanda at the St. Louis Zoo and attending live shows and performances. She was a lifelong Cyclone, holding season tickets for ISU Girls Basketball and ISU Football.</p><p>Sharon passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 after a very short stay at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.</p><p>Those remaining to cherish her memory include her brother Marty Olson and his wife Linda of Ames; two nephews Eric Olson of Ames and Nathan Olson of Ankeny; one niece Amanda Olson of St. Louis, MO; along with many other relatives and friends.</p><p>Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.</p><p><br></p>
