Laura was a beautiful soul, a devoted mother, selfless and big hearted with a big personality to match. She had a beautiful smile, a spunky personality and a sharp wit. She loved listening to country music along with Celine Dion, Cher and Rod Stewart, she loved to wear her gold jewelry. She was young at heart and enjoyed her family and life despite all her struggles. In her younger years, before becoming ill she worked as at local businesses like ACS Industries, Huggies and Post 62. She was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan; she liked playing darts and she loved to cook for her family.

Laura fought illness like a warrior and life's obstacles with steadfast determination, she was always strong and an example of strength and kindness whom everyone loved. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, she would call them every day, she loved hosting Christmas at her house, she celebrated the holidays with her favorite Italian specialties, she made lasagna and stuffed shells along with all the traditional holiday favorites. She was our hero, our shining star, and she will be missed by all of us. Rest in peace, until we meet again.

Services for Laura will be held at a later date.
