Shirley Kay Corder Lair

Shirley Kay Corder Lair was born January 20th, 1947 the daughter of the late Lester and Bertha Mae Kidd Corder. She passed away suddenly Thursday afternoon in the Emergency Room of the Wayne County Hospital. She is survived by her daughters: Susan D. Lair, Sondra Gregory and Shelley K. Lair and her companion of 27 years, Jerry Lair. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Dustan W. Lair, Halena Lair, Jerrica S. Hatcher, Raellyn Paislee Hutchison, Shade and Sawyer Gregory; great grandchildren: Brady W. Lair, Noah B. Lair, Mayson W. and Brenley H. Colyer; and siblings: Ella Mae Campbell, Stella Corder, Kate Perkins, Irene Winchester, Earl, Harold and Robert Corder. Shirley accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and became a member of the Concord Baptist Church. She was a Charter member of the Green Hill Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her passing. Visitation: Sunday from 3 to 7 PM at the Funeral Home Funeral: Sunday 7PM in the Funeral Home Chapel Interment: ELk Spring Cemetery
