Adeline Mary (DaSilva) Chrzanowski, 97, of Pittsfield, MA died on Monday September 19, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center.

She was born in Pittsfield, MA on January 11, 1925, a daughter of James A. DaSilva and Clementina (Craveiro) DaSilva. She attended local schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School with the class of 1942.

Prior to her marriage, Adeline was employed as a secretary at General Electric Co. She was devoted to her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Adeline was a true blue Boston Red Sox baseball fan and never missed a game.

She was the widow of Edward A. Chrzanowski who died on April 25, 1985. They were married on October 16, 1948. Survivors include her four daughters- Sylvia M. LiPera of Marietta, GA; Teresa R. (Brian) Lussier of Dalton, MA; Linda (Richard) Wood of Pittsfield, MA; and Alice Janssen (John Maston) of Pittsfield, MA. She also leaves eight grandchildren- Jason (Amanda) Cureton; Bryan (Kimberley) Wood; Jeffrey (Jacqueline) Cureton; Amanda (Larry) Knights; Jennifer Faulconer (Steven O'Neill); Edward (Stephanie) Hadley; Josh (Lori) Lussier; and Heather (Chris) Eastwood; seventeen great grandchildren- Vanessa, Benjamin, Alexander, Madeline, Madison, Morgan, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Isabella, Amelia, Ethan, Lucas, Parker, Hallie, Amber, Justin, and Ashly; her sister in law- Marge Wheeler and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons in law- Lucian LiPera and Ric "RJ" Janssen and her brothers and sisters including Mary Victoria DaSilva, Anthony J. DaSilva, James A. DaSilva, Joseph A. DaSilva, Mary Ellen "Linna" Wheeler, and John DaSilva. Adeline's family would like to thank the staff at Mount Carmel Extended Care and the 4th floor Comfort and ER staff at BMC for their care and support.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Adeline Chrzanowski will be Monday September 26, 2022 at 12 Noon at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA with Rev.
