Eddie Marlin Gordon, 59, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at his residence. He was also affectionately known as, “Flash”, “Rip”, and “Tennessee”. He was born on October 19, 1962 in Camden, TN to Luke Marlin and Della Jane (Joyner) Gordon. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Eddie worked as a highway maintenance supervisor at a paint company previously. He liked to play pool, paint model trains and cars, scenery, and watch football. Eddie will be remembered for his kind and friendly personality. He loved Southern cooking and big bowls of ice cream… even with being diabetic. The family will miss his way of joking around and his tender, loving nature.

Eddie is survived by his sisters, Deborah McPherson and Darlene Heinz, half-sister, Marilyn Everly, sons, Christopher Gordon and Nicholas Gordon, 6 grandchildren, Jayden, Savannah, Conner, Harley, Kyla, and Kaiya. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family services for Eddie will be conducted at a later date in Memphis, TN. Memorial contributions in memory of Eddie may be given in care of the family or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
