Clinton – Rebekah “Beckie” Maschino, age 70, of Clinton passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at her home. Beckie was born February 7, 1952, in Tecumseh, to Ronald and Dora Mae (Tiede) Maschino. Beckie was a graduate of Britton-Macon High School with the class of 1970, and she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University. She had been employed with the City of Adrian in the Parks and Recreation Department and just recently retired on September 2, 2022. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and also attended St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in the Irish Hills. Beckie enjoyed making homemade quilts for her great nieces and nephews, cooking and baking, especially at Christmas time, knitting, and sewing Halloween costumes and wedding dresses. She loved nature and watching musicals and movies. She will always be remembered by her family and friends for going above and beyond in everything she did and for her generous and kind spirit.

Surviving Beckie is her mother, Dora Mae; brother, Mark (Sheri) Maschino of Britton; sisters, Debbie (Chuck) Schmidt of Onsted, Vickie Porter of Tecumseh, Cindie Maschino of Tecumseh, and Tammie (Kent) Sanderson of Soddy Daisy, TN; nieces and nephews, Eric (Carrie Stewart) Henricks and their daughter, Annabel, Isaac (Michelle) Henricks, Emily Porter, and her children, Lily, Phoenix, and Raven, Megan (Mark) Stevenson, and their daughter, Gabriella, Matthew (Megan) Schmidt, and their children Caden and Harper, Bradley (Zyna) Schmidt, and their children, Londyn and Delaney, Heidi (Bradley) Cannon and their children, Brenden and Brielle, Travis Maschino, Tosha Maschino, Heather Holmes, Jason Holmes, Anthony (Sara) Alvarez, and Cristina (Cori) Alvarez; and many college friends that she got together with every year. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Alice Maschino; and maternal grandparents, Gustav and Edna Tiede.

Funeral services for Beckie will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palmyra with Pastor Richard “Rick” Hogan officiating. Cremation will follow.
