Ina D. (Clover) Johnson 79, of Murphysboro, Illinois passed away September 10, 2022, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Illinois.

Ina was born August 29, 1943, in Murphysboro, Illinois to Paul Clover and Beulah (Ellis).

Ina married Carl Junior Johnson and he preceded her in death.

She enjoyed sewing and painting. She loved spending time with her family but, the highlight was spending time with her grandchildren.

Ina was a member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Carbondale, Illinois.

Survivors include five children Jimmy (Cindy) Johnson of Georgia, Lisa Johnson of Murphysboro, IL, Patty (Kevin) Verseman of Murphysboro, IL, Carl “C.J.” Johnson of Murphysboro, IL, Michelle (Gary) Dagner of Ava, IL, Eight grandchildren Paul Murray, Carl Murray, Kendall Johnson, Devin Verseman, Taylor Johnson, Karley Johnson, Natalie Dagner, and Dylan Steht-Johnson, and Two great grandchildren Cassidee Murray and Caiden Murray.

Other survivors include five siblings Gary and Kathy Clover of Murphysboro, Carol and Andrew Johnson of Murphysboro, Rick and Shirley Fletcher of Murphysboro, Cindy and Bob Johnson of Desoto, and Jeanie Ellis of Murphysboro.

She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Beulah Clover, husband Carl Johnson Jr, daughter Carla Johnson, two brothers David and Dale Clover, and two sister Sandra Cantrell and Barbara Carruthers.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Carbondale, Illinois. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church and interment at Murdale Gardens of Memory in Murphysboro, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Carbondale, Illinois, or the Diabetes Foundation.
