Hazel Delorse Hatcher, 77, of Topeka, Kansas passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at Medicalodges of Atchison.

She was born on August 15, 1945 to Hillard and Jesse (King) Hatcher in Georgetown, Texas. Hazel met a handsome young man named Earl William Hatcher Jr and on September 25, 1963 they were married in Georgetown, Texas. Three children were born from this marriage, Ursula, Earl III, and Eric. Earl preceded her in death on May 22, 2020.

A visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the funeral home at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm with Chaplain Floyd Sullivan officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 pm where Hazel will be buried with her husband, Earl at Leavenworth National cemetery.

Memorials in her name may be directed to the University of Kansas Endowment Foundation for diabetes research studies.
