Yvonne Annette Fetherston passed away peacefully at Maitland Manor nursing home in Goderich, Ontario on Sept 6 2022. She was 83 years old. Yvonne was born to Gabrielle and Fabien Gauthier and was predeceased by her siblings Conrad, Alfé, Claude, Richard, Maurice and Gertrude Gauthier as well as her husbands Real Lavoie (1979) and Gerald Fetherston (2003). She is survived by her brother Gaëtan (Jocelyn) Gauthier, her daughters, Linda Fetherston, Kelly (Jason) Ingram, and Crystal (David) Law. Also, her grandchildren Amber and Gordon Law; Margaret (Michael) Ingram and Lily Ingram; as well as her great grandson Levi Cromarty. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Yvonne will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit. She loved her family, especially her precious grandchildren whom she took great joy in. Her strong faith in her Lord and Savior was a great comfort to her. Friends and family will remember her in the many precious keepsakes she made over the years using her great skills of cross stitching, plastic canvas and crocheting. Cremation has taken place and the family will gather at a later date in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario for a celebration of her life and interment.
