Phyllis Johnson

Phyllis J. (Riggs) Johnson 74, of Desoto, Illinois passed away August 19, 2022, at Fairview Nursing and Rehab in DuQuoin, Illinois.

Phyllis was born August 5, 1948, in Murphysboro, Illinois to Charles Riggs and Nellie (Lively).

Phyllis loved watching her T.V. and shopping, but most importantly she loved spending time with her daughter, sister, and son-in-law.

She enjoyed and loved her late granddogs Angel Mae and Rebos.

Survivors include her daughter Michelle (Mark) Lies of Desoto, Illinois, and her sister Sharon (Mike) Bryant of Murphysboro, Illinois.

Other survivors include a very special puppy Marley and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Nellie Riggs, her son Neal Riggs, one nephew Scott Riggs, and two brothers Thomas Riggs and Charles Riggs.

Her body will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.
