Minnie Pearl Mosteller Witherspoon 88 passed away Thursday August 18, 2022. She was born March 22, 1934 in Catawba County to the late Sherman Mosteller and Kathleen Katie Wilfong Mosteller.
She was a member of Glendale Street Church of Christ where she was very active in church duties. She retired from Regal Manufacturing Company and she also was employed with Hickory Soup Kitchen. She was an avid bowler at Colonial Lanes in Hickory and Penn Station in Newton for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Rodrigues Abernathy, a great grandson Xavion Watts, and two nephews, Billy Mosteller and Albert Mosteller, three sisters and four brothers.
She leaves to cherish loving memories her children Carl Fambrough of Newton, Barbara (Kenith) Williams, Jimmy Fambrough, and Robert McDaniel all of Hickory and Kathleen McDaniel of Newton; a sister-in-law Mae Mosteller of Baltimore, Md., seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Antonia Logan, Pastor and Brother Len Moss, Eulogist. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery.
