Gloristine "Sara" Massey

Princess Gloristine “Sara” Massey was the daughter of Sherman Rucker and Norma Ruth Washington. On August 17, 2022, she departed this life trading in this world for the Kingdom of Yahvah. Zedekiah Washington (Papa Bubba) was not only her grandfather, but he was her spiritual mentor. Under his leadership and guidance, he taught her that she was a Hebrew, a daughter of Abraham. She spent 60 years traveling across the country proclaiming Yahvah’s name and teaching his people that they are Hebrew Israelites. She pursued and gained a (DMin) Doctrine in Ministry. She is preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Bishop Ishmael Massey ”Papa” and brother, Glen Allen Martin. She planted the seed of Yahvah into her family and it grew into a large family tree that she leaves behind: her daughter, Vivian Hopkins-Okoroji ( Kyrain);one granddaughter, Rachel Gilkey(Marlon); four grandsons, Samuel Gunnels, Arron Hopkins(Amy), Larry Hopkins and Louis Hopkins Jr; two sisters, Marva Moore(Samuel SR), First Lady Edith Ward(Bishop Otha); two brothers, James Howard Steward and Gary Wayne Steward; two sisters-in-law, Myrtleruth Gunnels-Harrison and Genevia Myrtlend Gunnels-English; 17 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, lots of nieces and nephews . We say farewell until we meet again in the Kingdom. Today we celebrate all the wonderful wisdom and love Sara passed to her family. You now have the crown that rest on your head Dr. Gloristine “Sara” Massy, we will always and forever remember and love you.
