<p>VIDRINE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Brenda L. Vidrine at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at St Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou, LA followed by Interment at New St. Ann Mausoleum. Father Billy Massie will be the celebrant of the mass and conduct funeral services.</p> <p>Brenda L. Vidrine, 81, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Mercy Regional Hospital. Brenda was born on May 24, 1941in Vidrine, LA to the late Joseph Elvin and Thelma Guillory LaHaye. Brenda was a very faithful Christian who attended Mass daily. She instilled her Christian values into her children. Brenda kept a tidy home and was very devoted to her family.</p> <p>She is survived by her sons, Joseph Vidrine and wife, Stephanie of Mamou, LA and Gary Vidrine and wife, Shantel of Reddell, LA; daughters, Angela Pierrotti of Reddell, LA, Melanie Guidry of Houma, LA, Theresa Carter and husband, James of Monroe, LA; and Paula Guillory and husband, Kent of Vidrine, LA; sisters, Faye Parrott of Vidrine, LA. Gayle Fontenot of Vidrine, LA, Katy Marcantel of Vidrine, LA, and Carla Duhon of Lafayette, LA; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.</p> <p>She was preceded in death her parents, Joseph Elvin and Thelma Guillory LaHaye; daughter, Elizabeth Guillory, great grandson, Dalton Lucas Troxell; and sister, Ouida Robert.</p> <p>Visitation will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou on Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 9:00 until 10:00 AM.
