Doreen Leinani Rodrigues-Zuluaga
<p>We are saddened to say that God seen she was getting tired and our beautiful mother and grandmother Doreen Leinani Rodrigues-Zuluaga, has went to Heaven. Doreen fought hard for over 100 days in the hospital/ICU. Doreen passed away just 5 days apart from Samantha’s dad, he passed on 8/3/14 and her on 8/8/22. She was married once in her life to Samantha’s father Jaime Zuluaga who went to heaven 8 years ago. Doreen is a proud mother to her only child Samantha and leaves behind 3 grandchildren Nevaeh Anela Burgos, Evalyn, and Xavion. Doreen LOVED hula dancing, hawaiian bbq, music, the ocean, shoes, and cake decorating. We cannot begin to express our grief over this loss. God definitely gained an angel and we feel confident and some peace of mind knowing that she’s now not in pain or suffering anymore and in Heaven reunited with her amazing parents, Gilbert Rodrigues/Margaret Rodrigues, her fiancé Donald Beyers, Her grandparents Jennie/Manuel/Emilio/Flora, her Bestfriend Connie Feltman, Cousin Terri Leilani Querido and her only husband Samantha’s dad Jaimie Zuluaga and many more we have lost. We will truly miss the light she brought to all of our lives and her memory will live on as we celebrate her life and process her absence. My children Nevaeh, Evalyn, and Xavion will always be protected and her spirit will live on through them. We ask for time to mourn and privacy during these difficult circumstances. My mom never stopped fighting to survive, she’s a warrior and I love her so much…Doreen was the type of person that when she walked in everyone stopped what they were doing and stared, and when she smiled she had that smile that Lit up the entire room!</p>Obituary
