Juanita A. Rodriguez, 60, formerly of Runge, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was born March 9, 1962, to the late Manuel and Anita Medina Aguero in Choate, Texas. In the early 80’s, she married the love of her life, Benito Rodriguez in Karnes County. She worked as a physical therapist and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She loved to dance and play Bingo. She was also an avid collector of hats.

Juanita is survived by sons, Brian Hernandez, Benito Rodriguez(Carolina), and Ramon Rodriguez; daughters, Esmeralda Rodriguez, and Samantha Rodriguez; sisters, Amelia Fraga, and Eloisa Hernandez(Catarino); brother, Ruben Aguero; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; favorite niece, Mary Lou Fraga-Guerra.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Felipe Aguero; sister, Maria Sotello; 2 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in Runge. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 9:30am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Runge. Father Norbert Herman will be officiating. Interment following at Runge Latin American Cemetery.
