Dateline-Lee, NH Kathleen Mary Beede, 79, passed away on August 12, 2022 at the Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont, NH. She was born May 30, 1943 in Exeter, NH, daughter of the late Nelson Beede and Eleanor (Jackson) Beede. Kathleen grew up on Friend St. in West Epping and was one of two children in her family. She was a graduate of Epping High School. On October 14, 1961, she married “Storres” Coffin. Sadly, he passed away tragically in a race car accident in 1964. Kathleen was a longtime resident in Lee, NH where she raised her daughter, Deborah. She worked as a clerk for years at the Lee Country Store. Kathleen was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Richard A. Mitchell American Legion of Epping, NH where she served as a Past President. Kathleen enjoyed listening to celtic music and Andrea Bocelli songs. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Turner, 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Richard Goldthwaite. A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Live and Let Live Farm Rescue, 20 Paradice Ln, Chichester, NH 03258.
