James Daniel Ramsey of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester Indiana, at 6:45 P.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at the age of 77.

James was born on March 7, 1945, in Peru, Indiana, to Roscoe and Clarrissia Gertrude (Hand) Ramsey.

He graduated from Bunker Hill High School, Bunker Hill, IN in 1963. James enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1963, proudly serving for three years.  He was Honorably Discharged in1966.  For most of his life he worked as a mechanic at gas stations.  James has lived in Kosciusko County for 14 years.

James is survived by one sister, Jolene Huiras, Warsaw, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

James will be laid to rest at a later date in Santa Fe Cemetery, Santa Fe, Indiana.  Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
