April Robbins

April Jo Robbins, 46, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Summerfield Health Care Center, Indianapolis, IN of complications of Huntington's Disease. April was born December 31, 1975, in Ashland, KY to Clay Edward Robbins and Dixie Stacy Robbins. She was predeceased by her mother Dixie Robbins and brother Chad Robbins. April was previously employed at Woodland Oaks. She had many friends who will remember her infectious smile and outgoing personality. April loved going to concerts and tennis matches and made friends wherever she went. She is survived by her father and stepmother Clay and Ann Robbins of Ashland; sister Sonya (Shawn) Heckart of Blandon, PA; stepbrother Mike Nichols of Greenup; stepsister Juanita (Joe) Kiser of Ashland; niece Ashtyn Heckart of Blandon, PA; nephews Brandon, Austin, Drew, and Zach; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Public viewing will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Service will follow at 11:00. Face masks preferred. The family has entrusted Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations of snack foods can be made in April's memory to Summerfield Health Care Center 34 S. Main St., Cloverdale, IN 46120. Summerfield is the only health care facility in the US to provide exclusive care to Huntington’s Disease patients.
