Evelyn Del Rocio Carbajal, 22 years old, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Evelyn was born December 4, 1999 in Mishawaka to Arturo Carbajal Galindo and Magnolia Duran Sanchez. Left to cherish the memory of Evelyn are her parents, Arturo & Magnolia; sisters, Dianey Carbajal, Miriam Carbajal; and brother, Arturo Carbajal, Jr. Evelyn was full of life. She was funny, outgoing and had such a happy demeanor. She enjoyed doing her nails & makeup, shopping, going on vacations, spending time with her dog, and taking photos – especially using snapchat filters on her father. Evelyn was also a very compassionate person. She was very loving to those around her. She was very strong-willed, fighting hard until the end. She did not let her illness limit her. Evelyn’s parents and siblings were her best friends. She will truly be missed. Visitation for Evelyn will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 12, 2022 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. and again from 10:00 am to 10:30am Saturday, August 13, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow immediately at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
