Jose Lerno Buno, age 61, rested peacefully on Monday morning, August 8, 2022.

Jose was born July 20, 1961 in Calamba, Philippines to Lourdes (Nay) and Leonardo Sr Buno.
He was the eldest out of the five siblings. Jose is survived by his loving wife, Eduvigis (Jhovie),
and his two beautiful daughters, Marjorie and Marie Cielo (Cielo). Alongside, he is survived by
his brothers and sisters, Gregorio (Boyet), Bhaby, Allan, Leonardo Jr (Leo), and Alice. Further
survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as watching sports, playing
basketball, golf, spending time outdoors with his family and adored cooking delicious food for
everyone. Jose was a CNC machinist his life with Custom Casting. Throughout Jose’s journey,
his laughter and caring personality will be missed immensely.

Our deepest gratitude goes to the care and compassion of the Seven Oaks and St Boniface
Hospital staff.

Family, friends and others whose lives Jose touched are invited to the viewing/lamay on August
13, 2022 commencing at 6:00pm, at Mosaic Funeral Chapel 1839 Inkster Blvd to reminisce,
grieve, support each other and of course, to chat.

Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave
