Patricia Anne Seigle Obituary

Patricia Anne (O’Brien) Seigle, 90, completed her journey Home on Saturday, August 6. She was born on January 28, 1932, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Jack and Marie O’Brien. She married Howard Dean Seigle on June 25, 1948. Preceding her were her parents, her husband, Howard Dean Seigle in 2004, her sister, Ellen Marie Ward in 2006, and her granddaughter, Angela Christina Hooper in 2022. Surviving are her five children Charlotte Nahlen of Winchester, KY, Steve (Eliisa) of Fowlerville, MI, Deanne (John) Martinez of Security, CO, Jack of Durand, MI, and Ruth (Don) Welch of Hobe Sound, FL. Also included are her grandchildren: Tim Hooper, Daniel Hooper, Beth (Jeff) Lowe, Jennifer (Dan) Harvey, Stephanie Seigle, John (Kathy) Simonic, Steven (Mari) Simonic, Rachel (Andrew) Davison, Paul Burton, Stacey (Victor) Andrade and Charlotte (Vlad) Strattner. Her great-grandchildren include Talley (Jonathan) Anton, Halley (Allan) Sleight, Shawn Byrne, Skylar Byrne, Tristan (Abi), Seth and Emma Seigle, Luke and Maggie Seigle, Amber Simonic, John Michael Simonic, Sophia Simonic, Lena, Ivy and Nadia Simonic, Isabelle and Gabriella Andrade and Mia Strattner. Included also is her first great-great grandson, Thorston Ivarr Seigle. Patricia was a bookkeeper and helped open The Hospice for Livingston County Michigan. She continued to work with Hospice until her retirement. Patricia was a Martin County resident since 1999. She volunteered with the Chaplin Volunteers at Martin Health System. She taught a creative writing class through Martin County Adult Education. Her hobbies were studying her Bible and she was an avid reader. We will have a Celebration of her life in Florida on Sunday, August 21 following the Sunday morning worship service at Calvary Chapel Palm City. It will start between 11:45 and noon. At this time, the plan is to live stream her service. There will be a luncheon to follow. There will be a separate Celebration of her life in Michigan on Saturday, October 1. Details will follow for this as we are still working things out for the time and location.
