Obituary

Randolph “Randy” Kleeberger passed peacefully from this world surrounded by his siblings and listening to his pastor praying for him! He was “prayed into heaven” on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the age of 71, a week after suffering a stroke and congestive heart failure complications. Born January 11, 1951 in Fairfield CA, Randy grew up in Dixon, graduating from Dixon High School in 1969. Randy is survived by brother Steve Kleeberger (Anne), sister Phyllis Seelye, nephews Stevie Kleeberger, Darryl and Ryan Seelye and many cousins both in the states and in Canada. He is preceded in death by his parents Mel and Helen Kleeberger, older brother Darryl Kleeberger and brother-in-law Delmer Seelye.

Randy spent his adult years working and living in several California cities and had settled in Rancho Cordova where he lived for the last 18 years. His love for Rancho Cordova was centered on his church, River City Christian Church. He was a beloved member of River City Christian Church, actively involved in the choir, the Men’s Ministry, various bible study groups and truly enjoyed volunteering for vacation bible school, fall harvest festival and the Christmas program.

Besides his love for his church, he loved being with his family. Family gatherings in Dixon were frequent and always ended with card and board games everyone got dragged into! Game night could go well into the night, especially when our extended family from Canada came to visit.

Randy also enjoyed traveling to visit relatives, with family reunions in Canada being a frequent destination. Attending his favorite Christian group’s concerts was another favorite destination, with his last trip (May 2021) found him in Nashville to attend the K-Love FanFest weekend with his good friend.

A “celebration of life” for Randy will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 10:00 am at River City Christian Church 10933 Progress Ct, Rancho Cordova, CA.

The service will also be live streamed on YouTube under the account of Randy Kleeberger
