<p>James Earl Basham, 53, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on August 6th, 2022.&nbsp;</p> <p>James was born on August 17th, 1968 to Merlin Harvey Basham and Mae Basham. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and building model cars.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Mae Basham; his sisters, Sharon Chambers and Robin Seay.</p> <p>James is survived by his children, Lindsey Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson, and Nichole Goodwin; his sisters, Charlotte Hall and Diane Haynes; and his brothers, Joe Basham, Billy Basham, and Leonard Basham; and 4 grandchildren, Brooklynn, Shaelyn, Alex, and Kailee. He will be missed by a host of many friends and family.</p> <p>Visitation will be Friday, August 12 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville.
