Frances Ware Holifield

Frances W. Holifield, a resident of Birmingham, AL departed this life to eternal rest on August 5, 2022. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00am at Central Baptist Church with burial at Zion Memorial Gardens.

Sister Frances Ware Holifield was born April 16, 1935, to the late Reverend Walter and Millie Parker Ware of Birmingham, Alabama. At an early age, she confessed Christ and was united with Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Later, she joined Central Missionary Baptist Church. She was united in Holy matrimony to the late Mr. John L. Holifield. To this union one child was born. She departed this life for a better life in God’s Kingdom, August 5, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at her home accompanied by her family at her bedside. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Willie Ware, Roosevelt Ware, Watkin Ware, Eddie Ware and J.C. Ware and sisters, Louise Marbury and Mammie Farley. She leaves to mourn her loving daughter, Brenda Lee Holifield; two grandsons, Mr. Tashombe (LaKesha Cephus) Holifield and Clint Holifield; three great grandchildren, Quinyuna Austin, John M. Holifield and Zharia Holifield; one greatgreat grandchild, Ava; two sisters, Kurlie Holifield and Dora Barnes and a host of nephews, nieces, neighbors and friends.
