<p>June Evelyn Krupp, 97, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on August 7th, 2022. June was born on May 31, 1925, to Peter L. and Elizabeth M. (Kinsinger) Yentes in Morton, Illinois.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Fred A. Krupp Jr., her son; Eric A. Krupp, and her siblings; Anna Leman, Bernice Doubet, Robert Yentes, Erma Yentes, Virginia Mercer, Dale Yentes, Ray Yentes, and Doretta Rein.</p> <p>June is survived by her sister-in-law; Illene Yentes, her daughters; Nanette E. Wolfe (Tim), and Veronica Y. Magnuson (Gerald), a step grandson; Jerry Duane Magnuson, and great step grandchildren; Taylor Magnuson (Lyndsey) and Gwyneth Woodruff (Hanz).</p> <p>Fred and June owned and operated Krupp&rsquo;s Tavern in Jeffersonville, the family&rsquo;s establishment from 1892 through 1967. June was a loving, dedicated mother and homemaker, a member of St Augustine&rsquo;s Parish, and a loyal active member of the Jeffersonville Elk&rsquo;s Ladies Auxiliary, serving as President plus many other positions. As a member of the local Red Hat Society, she enjoyed years of lunches and camaraderie with &ldquo;the girls&rdquo;. Crafting, gardening, and gardening brought her much pleasure and contentment. She especially loved baking Christmas cookies from her mother&rsquo;s recipes and cooking supper for family, friends, and neighbors. An avid reader of the daily local newspapers, June enjoyed the &ldquo;opinions, obits, and word jumbles&rdquo; enabling her to remain up to date on current world and community events making her an engaging conversationalist into her final days.</p> <p>June E. Krupp&#39;s final resting place will be located in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.&nbsp;</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National WWII Museum, New Orleans where her husband and all others are honored for their service in both the European and Pacific Theaters of WWII. www.nationalww2museum.org or call 504-528-1944.</p>
