Julian Michael Reeves

Julian Michael “Mike” Reeves, 71, of Mountainburg, AR passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at a local hospital. He was a 32nd Degree Mason at Clear Creek Lodge of Mountainburg, Maintenance Supervisor for 38 years at Whirlpool in Fort Smith, and a cattle farmer. Mike was a 1968 graduate of Mountainburg High School, former school board president and very civic and community minded. He was born December 2, 1950 in Mulberry to the late Julian “Jude” and Trella (Allen) Reeves.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with burial at Locke Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 E., Alma, AR.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Reeves; daughters, Tammy Hamilton and husband Joe of Mountainburg and Amanda Reeves of Bentonville; son, Shannon Reeves and wife Judy of Bentonville; one grandson, Dash Hamilton and brothers, Kenneth Reeves and wife Rose of Edwards, MO and Ronnie Reeves and wife Mary Lou of St. Paul, KS.

Pallbearers will be Bill Coleman, Dale Allen, Wesley Parr, Travis Teague, Jeff Teague and Wade Parr.
