Duane Simmons, 81, of Fallston, MD passed away on September 16, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Thurmond, NC, he was the son of Cecil Leff and Margaret (Wagoner) Simmons. He was a member of the National Guard and had worked for Aberdeen Proving Grounds for 42 years from where he retired. He was a family man who enjoyed playing the guitar, camping and spending time with his family. Mr. Simmons is survived by his wife, Alice F. Simmons; son, Roger Simmons; daughter, Vickie Hook; son in law, James Hook III, grandchildren, Jimmy, Mallory and Andrew Hook; nephew, John Vines and sisters, Barbara Moulton and Carol Abrams.
