Connie Lee Simms

Connie Lee Simms, 72, of Crawley passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 following a short illness. Born on February 3, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Neil and Maxine Ellen Perkins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Simms; brothers, John Neil, Larry Neil, Jeri Neil and Mark Neil; two grandchildren, Michelle and Joseph. Connie was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Tamala (Timmy) Gipson, Amy Bennett and Johanna (Billy) Turner; sons, Scott (Riley Fink) Simms, Jason (Virginia Sofil) Simms, Joshua (Kimberly) Simms, Gerald (Xavier Eichelberger) Simms; brother, Homer Neil; 27 grandchildren, Amanda, T.J., Dallas , Cameron, Natalie, Joe, Scotty, Raven, Mia, Harley, Tasha, Mystery, Jacquline, Savanna, Paydence, Cindy, Wendy, Alexis, Thomas, Justice, Jefrey, Gabriella, Jonathan, Joshua, Zakia, Zane and Zayden; 14 great grandchildren; extended family and friends. Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2022 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle.
