Sherry Lynn Willard “Nanny” born on October 7, 1948, in Bakersfield, CA, was a caring mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 73 surrounded by those who loved her. She is proceeded in death by her parents Ima Ruth Engle and Phillip Weldon Harris, and her son Dalyn Ray Rowe. She is survived in death by her husband Jimmy Willard, daughters Laura Milburn (husband Michael Milburn) and Mollie Flores (husband Rodrigo Flores), and brother John Harris. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren Kahley Milburn (husband Francisco Pizano), Kaya Montague (husband Christian Montague), Grace Milburn, Allyson Milburn, Emily Brady, Chelsie Flores, and Ryan Flores. Nanny is survived by one great granddaughter, Elena Brady.
All who knew her will miss her quick wit and goofy nature. Sherry loved spending the holidays cooking and baking with her family. She grew up going to Bass Lake in the summers and carried on this tradition with her children and grandchildren. Her family hopes to eat as many popsicles, share as many laughs, and give as many hugs as Nanny did throughout her 73 years of life.
