Barbara "Barbi" Runyon

<p>Barbara &ldquo;Barbi&rdquo; L. Runyon passed away peacefully on August 6, 2022 surrounded by family and friends in Jeffersonville, Indiana.&nbsp;</p> <p>Barbi was born on February 17, 1962 in Groton, Connecticut to Joan Tower Runyon and Robert &ldquo;Bob&rdquo; Runyon Sr. She attended Jeffersonville High School in Southern Indiana, studied at Sullivan University and worked as a bakery technician in a career she loved that revolved around food preparation and distribution.&nbsp;</p> <p>Barbi is survived by her father, Robert &ldquo;Bob&rdquo; Runyon; stepmother, Ruth Brauer Runyon; brother, Robert &ldquo;Rick&rdquo; Runyon (Karen Boone); sister, Sarah Runyon; sister-in-law, Cathy Runyon; son, Matthew Gouldy (Jenn Barnes); her grandchildren, Landon Gouldy, Jayden Barnes, Donovan Barnes and Nathan Barnes; her nieces and nephews, Ericka Voyles (Andrew Voyles), Damon Runyon, Olivia Rough and Addison Runyon. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Tower Runyon.&nbsp;</p> <p>Barbi was an active member of Community of Christ Church where she enjoyed cooking for events and church camps. She loved her dogs and cats, the UK Wildcats &ldquo;Go Cats!&rdquo;, Bob Seger and was a dear friend to many.&nbsp;</p> <p>Services are Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Community of Christ Church, 2401 Merriwood Dr., Louisville, KY 40299. Gathering at 10am, <em>Celebration of Barbi&rsquo;s Life Service</em> at 11am. Barbara “Barbi” L. Runyon passed away peacefully on August 6, 2022 surrounded by family and friends in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
