Oliver B. Gordon, age 83, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Paoli Hospital.
He was born in Rochester, New York on February 26, 1939, the son of the late Oliver B. and Ethel (Holloway) Gordon.
Oliver has been living in Skippack since 2003 formerly of Drexel Hill, PA. He attended Christ's Church of the Valley and was a former member of Riverview Presbyterian Church where he served as Treasurer. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an Internal Auditor for Peco. He enjoyed summers spent at the Jersey Shore, most recently in Ocean City, and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Elise (Edmiston) Gordon of Collegeville, PA; son, Jeffrey (& Diane) Gordon of Malvern, PA; two daughters, Deborah (& Steven) Thum of Phoenixville and Donna (& Michael) Sullivan of Oaks; and five grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathon, Michael, Matthew and Samantha.
Along with his parents, Oliver was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret "Peggy" Houle.
His Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 10:30 AM Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 W. Main St. Trappe PA 19426. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow with a private family service in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
