Joanne “Tina” Ciccarelli, 81, of Cedar Grove, N.J., passed away on Aug. 5, 2022. Visitation will be on Tues. Aug. 9 from 4-8 p.m. at Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 485 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. Services begin on Wed., Aug. 10 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove, with interment at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, N.J. Born in Belleville, N.J. to the late Anthony and Florence Walsh, Joanne lived in Bloomfield, N.J., Nutley, N.J., and Belleville before settling in Cedar Grove. A chef by trade, she cooked at many local establishments and institutions before retiring. Joanne loved to read, especially cookbooks. She loved to be with her family and spending the holidays at Chic and Lucille’s home. She lived for her family and was the staple that kept it together.

Predeceased by her sons, Joseph, Anthony “Pat”, and Angelo “Sonny”, granddaughter, Amber, and siblings, Linda, Howard, Edward, and Barbara, she is survived by her sons, Michael “Chic” Ciccarelli, and his wife, Lucille, and Dean Ciccarelli; grandchildren, Michael, Dean, Jr., Anthony, Marc, Alexandria Lee, and Gia; great-grandchildren, Adriana and Zatch; sister, Frances Gonzalez; and step-children, Angela Sheedy and Dennis Ciccarelli.
