Jeffrey DeWayne Morgan was born on July 2, 1960, to Luther James Morgan and Carolyn Twynett Morgan Rucker. He passed peacefully away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at Fort Sanders Hospital. Jeff (as he was affectionately called) was a Rule High School alumnus. He was past longtime employee of the McDonald’s Restaurant on Magnolia Avenue where he served as a manager. He had a generous love for every child he met and was respected by his many friends and relatives. He met no strangers with his casual demeanor, fun loving ways, and pleasing personality. Jeff was a blessing to many, and he will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Marvin Rucker; and his grandparents. Jeff is survived by loving and devoted sisters, Sharon Burris and Emily Morgan; brother, J.C. Morgan; loving and devoted nephew, niece, and families: Alan (Sarah) Burris and Finley; Alyshia (Ernest) McDuffey Jr. Brooklyn and Ernest III; aunts, Joyce (William) Burris and Charlotte Dawkins; special daughter Katie Lee (Bird) and grandkids, Klee, Kiya, Keilyn, and Desire Brown; special friends, Kat Shepard and Mary Cline; devoted cousins, William Allen Stevens Jr. (Rhodema) and Samuel Taylor; special devoted sister in heart, Jackie White; many other relatives and friends.
