William Leroy Kellogg Obituary

William L. Kellogg, 64, passed away on August 4, 2022. He was born in Ashtabula on December 9, 1957, to Raymond and Nina (Bittikofer) Kellogg.

William was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School in Andover. He worked as a stock person at Tops grocery store.

William was a gifted mechanic, who loved helping others, and loved fixing up riding mowers and motorcycles. He was known for his pocket T-shirts, cargo shorts and trendy tennis shoes. He enjoyed playing and visiting on the porch with his grandchildren. William was always fond of animals especially his fur baby, Wolf, and his grand dogs. The Tasmanian Devil was his kindred spirit. He truly enjoyed the simple things in life like a hot cup of coffee on his porch watching over the neighborhood.

William was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Marilyn Burns and Linda Riggleman; and his brother, Robert Kellogg.

William is survived by his wife, Margaret (Stitt), whom he married on September 2, 1983; his daughters, Sonya (John) Canter, Jeanette (Larry) Gibson, and Megan (Donald) Fink, all of Ashtabula; his son, Billy (Anita Billig) Kellogg of Ashtabula; his sisters, Diane Burlingame of Jefferson, and June Keesler of Dorset; his brother, Ronald Kellogg of Andover; and his grandchildren, Caden,, Johnny, Ariel, Brooklyn, Aunna, Kallie, Dylan, Jalynn, Kamdyn, Aniya, and Layla(on the way).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Zaback Williams Ducro Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect Street, Ashtabula on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to the family.
