<p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Betty Holmes Moore, of Flower Mound, Texas, departed this life for her home in Heaven on Saturday, the 6th day of August 2022, surrounded by her loving family.&nbsp; Mrs. Moore was 90 years of age when the Lord called her home.&nbsp; She was born in Tennessee Colony, Texas, on the 24th day of July 1932 to parents Clarence &ldquo;C.L.&rdquo; Holmes and Lois McGee Holmes.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Mrs. Moore was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.&nbsp; She was blessed with a long life and many talents including sewing.&nbsp; She could as well create beautiful embroidery.&nbsp; Mrs. Moore was also an excellent cook and baker.&nbsp; She made delicious meals and pies for all the family gatherings.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Mrs. Moore lived her life following Christ.&nbsp; She was a baptized believer and member of the Church of Christ.&nbsp; She deeply loved her daughters and her entire family.&nbsp; Her absence will be felt but her memory will live on until the day we are all reunited in Heaven.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">She is preceded in death by her parents, C.L. and Lois Holmes, first husband Bill Lee, second husband Billy Moore, brother Carroll Lloyd Holmes, and sisters-in-law Mildred Holmes and Sharron Holmes.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Mrs. Moore will live in the hearts of her adoring family including her daughters, Judy Collins, and Mary &ldquo;Liz&rdquo; Lee; brother, Roger Holmes; grandchildren, Justin Lee and wife Jennifer, and Jordan Lee.&nbsp; She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. &nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">A funeral service to celebrate Mrs. Moore&rsquo;s life is to be conducted at eleven o&rsquo;clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 9th day of August 2022 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Dan Manuel officiating.&nbsp; Interment will follow in Roselawn Park.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the start of the service at Rhone Funeral Home.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Steve Holmes, Delton Atwood, Roger Holmes, Jr., Doug Sumrall, Jerry McKenzie, and Doug Lowe.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif;">Funeral services for Betty Holmes Moore are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. Betty Holmes Moore, of Flower Mound, Texas, departed this life for her home in Heaven on Saturday, the 6th day of August 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Moore was 90 years of age when the Lord called her home.  She was born in Tennessee Colony, Texas, on the 24th day of July 1932 to parents Clarence “C.L.” Holmes and Lois McGee Holmes.
