<p>Gladys Fay Rinks, 87, of Kirbyville passed away August 4, 2022.</p> <p>Born in Port Arthur, Texas to Rodney Taylor and Julia Richard Taylor, she lived in Kirbyville for many years. Gladys loved the Taylor Reunions, Cajun music, gospel music but truly enjoyed the solitude of her home and quiet of life. She loved her family and friends.</p> <p>Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney Taylor and Julia Richard Taylor; husband, Robert Rinks; son, Shaun Morvant; brother, Arbery Taylor; sister, Lou Carter and daughter-in-law, Diane Morvant.</p> <p>She is survived by her daughters, Sharlette Dunlap and husband, Weldon of Port Neches and Gayle Waller of Port Arthur; sons, Gerald Morvant and wife, Brenda of Port Arthur, Michael Morvant of Lumberton, Brett Morvant of Spurger, Floyd “Paul” Morvant and wife, Michelle of Fort Smith, Ark and Lloyd “Bryan” Morvant and wife, Nancy of Woodville; sisters, Elizabeth Griffin of Seguin, Sherry Spears of Cypress and Darleen Vidrine of Eunice, LA; brother, Russell Richard of Houston and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends.</p> <p>Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 3 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jason Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at the Trout Cemetery in Kirbyville. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 pm until 3 pm at the funeral home.</p> <p>Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Morvant, Michael Morvant, Brett Morvant, Floyd “Paul” Morvant, Lloyd “Bryan Morvant and Brad Dunlap.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Central Baptist<br /> Church, 801 S Margaret Ave., Kirbyville, Texas 75956</p> <p> </p>January 2, 1935 - August 4, 202201/02/193508/04/2022
