Sally Ann Stuart Clarksville, Maryland Obituary

Sally Ann Stuart

On August 4, 2022, Sally Ann Stuart, 84, passed away to be with our Lord at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, after an acute illness with leukemia.

Sally Ann Baile was born on June 29, 1938 in Takoma Park, MD to Robert and Nita Baile. She had a strong Christian faith from an early age, cultivated by her parents and her membership at Forcey Bible Church. She was a diligent prayer warrior and eager to share her faith with everyone in words and actions. Sally had an immense interest in home décor and enjoyed decorating her home and sharing her talents with her family and friends. Any activity Sally was involved in demonstrated her true servant’s heart and she received great satisfaction from helping others and getting it done just perfect. Sally was a devoted and loyal wife to Richard and her favorite mission field to serve was her family. She had an impeccable eye for detail and was a gracious host to small and large groups alike. Sally’s greatest earthly joy was to be surrounded by family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Sally supported her family no matter the circumstances, anything less was not an option. An unintentional mentor, she taught so much about being a faithful wife, caring mother, and follower of Jesus Christ. Her Christian faith was deep and abiding. She lived a life that trusted in God, no matter the hardships. She loved a clean car, a spotless house, and great quality merchandise at a bargain price. A close friend to many, Sally had long-lasting friendships that she stayed in contact with. Sally’s smartphone was always close at hand in case she was needed or wanted to check up with an old friend or family member. Sally was a woman of strong opinions, but with a smile on her face. Anything worth doing, was worth doing it well done--except for a good steak, that was best served rare.

Sally is survived by her husband of nearly 63 years, Richard Stuart. She is also survived by her five children; Rick (Kim) Stuart, Steve Stuart, Shelly (Tom) Black, Paul Beck and Sally Beck. Grandchildren; Kandace Grieg, Rick Stuart, Lauren Webster, Zach Stuart, Alexander Beck, Jacob Black, Steven Stuart, and Daisy Stuart. Great-grandchildren; Finley Stuart, Theo Grieg, Elijah Webster, Jonah Webster and Elizabeth Stuart. Sally was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Nita Baile, her sister and brother Beverly Beck and R. James Baile and one grandson Jordan Beck.

Sally’s life will be celebrated and memorialized for her friends and family on Saturday, August 27th at 10:30 A.M. at Forcey Bible Church located at 2130 E. Randolph Road Silver Spring, MD 20904.

A reception will immediately follow the service in Forcey’s Fellowship Hall.

The interment will be private.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Forcey Bible Church.

I am so sadden to hear of your lost. But to be absent from the body is to be present with our dear Lord. I will forever remember you and your great words of wisdom. Thanks for all the great advice!

Sally was an amazing best friend for decades. She ministered to me through two cancer events. We enjoyed all day shopping trips, many luncheons, but the best time was enjoying ice cream at the end of our adventures. I will miss her greatly. I know she is rejo...
