<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Mary Lou Shepard, 93, passed away at 5:05 pm on Thursday August 4, 2022, at Century Villa in Greentown.&nbsp; She was born on November 20, 1928, to the late Harold V. and Edith C. (Dowden) Benge.&nbsp; She married Harold V. Shepard on February 24, 1951, and he preceded her in death on November 1, 2000.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Mary Lou worked for Haynes Stellite and AA New &amp; Used Furniture. She ran her own pet grooming service for 16 years and retired in 1996. Mary was a very hard worker and loved spending time with her family.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Mary Lou is survived by her children, Sharol (Truman) Eaker, Harold R. (Sandy) Shepard, Ronald (Vickie) Shepard, Kathleen (Tim) Munro, and Rodney Shepard; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter, Janice Elaine; granddaughter, Shelly; grandson, Joshua; brother, John Benge; and sister, Ruthanna Rubow.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday Aug 11, 2022, at Shirley &amp; Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, with Pastor Lynn Brust officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery. Mary Lou Shepard, 93, passed away at 5:05 pm on Thursday August 4, 2022, at Century Villa in Greentown.  She was born on November 20, 1928, to the late Harold V. and Edith C. (Dowden) Benge.  She married Harold V. Shepard on February 24, 1951, and he preceded her in death on November 1, 2000. 

Mary Lou worked for Haynes Stellite and AA New & Used Furniture. She ran her own pet grooming service for 16 years and retired in 1996. Mary was a very hard worker and loved spending time with her family.
