Marilyn R. Richmond Obituary

Marilyn Ruth Richmond, age 92, passed away on August 5, 2022. She was born September 11, 1929, in Perry, Michigan, daughter of Cicero and Olinda Ruth (Ogden) Crumback. Marilyn graduated from Perry High School and from Sparrow Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She went on to work at Sparrow Hospital. Marilyn married Ronald K. Richmond in June 1952. They made Grand Ledge their home for over 65 years. They also made many wonderful memories at their cottage on Chippewa Lake for over 50 years. Marilyn attended the Grand Ledge First United Methodist Church and served many years as a Sunday School teacher and Librarian. Marilyn is survived by son, Ricke Richmond; son-in-law, Dan Feighner; and daughter, Debra (David) Peake; sister-in-law, Mary Lou (Richmond) Alleman; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; son, Gary; daughter, Kathleen; daughter-in-law, Peggy; and her sisters, Eila Henry, and Betty Farah. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Wacousta Community United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at the Mills Funeral Home, Peters and Murray Chapel Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Delta Center Cemetery.
