<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Mildred Anna Healton, 98, Kokomo, passed away at 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Golden Living Center in Kokomo. She was born March 26, 1924, in Howard County, the daughter to the late Orlando E. and Opal (Miller) Healton.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Mildred was a 1942 graduate of New London High School. In 1976, she retired from Haynes Stellite after 34 years of service. Mildred was a member of the Quarter Century Club, and the Alto Road Church of Christ Golden Agers. Mildred enjoyed writing poetry, and traveling, as she was able to travel all 50 states in her lifetime, along with traveling to Cuba. She attended the Arthur Murray Dance Studio where she became certified as a dance instructor. Mildred loved to ballroom dance and danced in many competitions over several years.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Mildred is survived by her sister, Dorothy Rapp; brothers, Lester Healton, Larry (Sue) Healton, and Roger (Susan) Healton; along with several nieces and nephews.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her siblings, Rosemary Frazier, and Deanna Munsell.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Stout &amp; Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Billy Martin officiating. Burial will follow in New London Friends Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1 pm until the start of the service at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.</span></strong></p>
