Maxwell Aaron "Max" Mendler

Maxwell Aaron “Max” Mendler, 29, of Derry passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 unexpectedly in his home. Born January 27, 1993 in Orange County, California he was the son of the late Mark H. Mendler and Rebecca L. (Patterson) Crawford. He was a 2012 graduate of Greater Latrobe High School and lived in Derry most of his life. Max was an installer for Xfinity for several years. He was a member of the Congregation Emanuel Israel in Greensburg. Max enjoyed playing pool, collecting guns and video gaming. He loved to watch the Simpson and Top Gear. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Joan Mendler, and maternal grandfather, Raymond Harkey. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Lynn (Timothy) Crawford of Kiski Township; brother, Mickey D. Mendler of Uniontown; uncle, Mike (Stacy) Mendler of Virginia; cousins, David, Mitchell, Jason Mendler; step mother, Michelle Mendler; step brothers, Brandon Zemba and Benjamin Piper; step grandfather, William Schall; step uncle David Schall; step nieces, Kylee and Eliana; and step nephews, Xander, Devon, Damian, and Maddox. There will be no viewing. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Apollo.
