Madeline Lucero <br> March 19, 1921 - February 9, 2013<br> Mrs. Madeline Lucero, 91, of Rocky Ford passed away on Saturday, February 9th, 2013 suddenly at her residence. Madeline was born in Las Vegas, NM on March 19, 1921, the daughter of the late Phillip and Rosenda (Baca) Martinez. She was the widow of Benjamin Santiago Lucero. They were married on June 18, 1951 in Rocky Ford, CO and he preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 1998. She was a Homemaker. Madeline was a member of Family Worship Center in Rocky Ford, CO. She is survived by: Daughter Stella wife of Frank Turja of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Rose Lucero-Brown of San Diego, CA; Son Eugene husband of Rosalie Lucero of Pueblo West, CO; Daughter Carol Lucero-Rodriquez of Colorado Springs, CO; Son Rumaldo Lucero of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Dan husband of Debbie Lucero of Loveland, CO; Daughter Margaret Hopkins of New Mexico. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren Madeline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, and brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be at the Community Presbyterian Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 15th, with Pastor Gene Lucero and Pastor Frank Turja officiating. A visitation will be on Thursday 3-5 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. Memorials may be made to Family Worship Center, 504 S. 10th Rocky Ford, CO 81067. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
