Somerville Ida S. Cohen (Tumolo) 86, died August 5, 2022. Ida was born and raised in Somerville and formerly of North Plainfield before moving to Somerset in 1997. She was a 1954 graduate from Somerville High School. Ida attended nursing school at Somerset Hospital where she received her RN in 1957. She was employed as a registered nurse at Muhlenberg Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 2006. Ida was a member of the Parish Players of Plainfield. She will be sadly missed by all. She is predeceased by her mother, Bertha (1994) father Sidney, (1997), sister Esther (2007) and ex-husband Robert Tumolo (2010). Surviving is her four children Lisa Wanthouse and husband Robert, Nancy Tumolo, Mary Farrell and husband Brian, and her only son Robert Tumolo Jr., seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 1pm Monday at Temple Sholom Cemetery in Bridgewater. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, Somerville.
