<p><span style="font-size:20px;"><em><span style="font-family:courier new,courier,monospace;"><strong>Kenneth Wayne Daniel, 79, of Waxhaw, NC passed away at Accordius Health at Monroe, NC on July 28, 2022.&nbsp; He was born on Friday October 13, 1942 in Pensacola, Fla .&nbsp; He attended West Mecklenburg High School and CPCC in Charlotte, NC.&nbsp; He instructed law enforcement cources at CPCC as well. He served in the National Guard and as a Mecklenburg County Police Detective in Charlotte, NC. He also owned and operated Daniel and Associate, a private investigative agency and Wysacky, a restaurant.&nbsp;</strong></span></em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><em><span style="font-family:courier new,courier,monospace;"><strong>Wayne was&nbsp; predeceased by his parents (Wesley and Alma Daniel), and his brother (Thomas Daniel).&nbsp; Surviving is his wife (Cynthia Daniel),&nbsp; his brother (Stewart Daniel), his son (Tommy Daniel), his grandson (Wesley Daniel), his step-daughter, (Sabrena Kauffmann), and step-grandson (Christopher Wayne Haworth).&nbsp;</strong></span></em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><em><span style="font-family:courier new,courier,monospace;"><strong>Wayne loved to travel, read and learn.&nbsp; He loved story telling drawn from his life experiences.&nbsp; Most of all he loved his family and pets.</strong></span></em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><em><span style="font-family:courier new,courier,monospace;"><strong>There will be a Memorial Service celebrating Wayne&rsquo;s life on August 20<sup>th</sup> at 2:00pm at Tirzah Presbyterian Church 7507 Tirzah Church Rd., Waxhaw, NC.</strong></span></em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><em><span style="font-family:courier new,courier,monospace;"><strong>Donation to be made to&nbsp; Tirzah Presbyterian Church 7507 Tirzah Church Rd., Waxhaw, NC</strong></span></em></span></p>

Wayne & Cynthia were a big part of our lives when my kids were small because we would go eat at GRITs several times a week so I didn't have to cook. Wayne was always helping out and often sat to chat telling us cool stories about his police days. Fond memories.
