<p><span style="font-size:20px;"><em><span style="font-family:courier new,courier,monospace;"><strong>Kenneth Wayne Daniel, 79, of Waxhaw, NC passed away at Accordius Health at Monroe, NC on July 28, 2022. He was born on Friday October 13, 1942 in Pensacola, Fla . He attended West Mecklenburg High School and CPCC in Charlotte, NC. He instructed law enforcement cources at CPCC as well. He served in the National Guard and as a Mecklenburg County Police Detective in Charlotte, NC. He also owned and operated Daniel and Associate, a private investigative agency and Wysacky, a restaurant. </strong></span></em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><em><span style="font-family:courier new,courier,monospace;"><strong>Wayne was predeceased by his parents (Wesley and Alma Daniel), and his brother (Thomas Daniel). Surviving is his wife (Cynthia Daniel), his brother (Stewart Daniel), his son (Tommy Daniel), his grandson (Wesley Daniel), his step-daughter, (Sabrena Kauffmann), and step-grandson (Christopher Wayne Haworth). </strong></span></em></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><em><span style="font-family:courier new,courier,monospace;"><strong>Wayne loved to travel, read and learn. He loved story telling drawn from his life experiences. Wayne & Cynthia were a big part of our lives when my kids were small because we would go eat at GRITs several times a week so I didn't have to cook. Wayne was always helping out and often sat to chat telling us cool stories about his police days. Fond memories.
