Sherry Sue Potter

Sherry Sue (Sarver) Potter went to be with the Lord Jesus on Friday, August 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by loved ones. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the Lolo Community Church with a reception to follow. Burial will follow the reception in the Florence Carlton Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Rocky Mountain Bible Mission and/or Camp Utmost and online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.<br><br>Sherry was born at Corydon, Iowa on February 16, 1946 to June (Massey) Sarver and Ernest Edward Sarver. She grew up in Corydon, Humeston and Derby, all small towns in south central Iowa. She graduated from High School in Garden Grove, Iowa. Sherry married her high school sweetheart, DeLon Potter, in August of 1964. They were blessed with four wonderful children. <br><br>Sherry worked as a secretary, office manager, and a salesclerk. She loved the Lord and had a passion for volunteer work at the Lolo Community Church. In her free time, she enjoyed oil painting, drawing, writing poetry, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and writing amusing letters to friends and relatives. Above all else she was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed.<br><br>Left to cherish her memory are her husband, DeLon Potter of Lolo, Montana; four children, DeLona Sue Irwin; Jacquelyn (Jill) Twardoski; Tiedji Lynn Baker; and Brian (Wade) Potter. Seven grandchildren, Corey Bedker; Channing Brown; Robin Winters; Kaili, Dallys, Jagger and Zoe Potter. Three great grandchildren, Carson Bedker, Brooks Brown, and Royce Bedker; siblings, Angela (Larry) Doze; Carolyn (Don) Heath; Linda (Tom) Johnson; Jocelyn (Bob) Arndt; nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.<br><br>Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and June Sarver; brother, Craig Sarver; and sister, Beverly Brathall. <br><br><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bbE-0YZlYDc" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
