John Richard Maples-age 54 of Maynardville, formerly of Knoxville passed away suddenly Thursday evening, August 4, 2022 at his home. He was preceded in death by father, David Kent Maples; brother, David Maples.<br><br>Survivors: wife of 28 years, Yelonda Maples; son, Kevin Maples; step-son, C. Daniel Presnell; daughter, Tiffany Elizabeth Maples; mother and step-father, Lynn and Tom Cobble; sisters, Cheryl Roper, Anita Watts. Ten grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. <br><br>The family will have a gathering of friends and relatives at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation will be accepted at the funeral home for expenses. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville. <br>Obituary
